Blend 2019 announced

If you missed the Blend conference last year, watch this video to experience some full-strength FOMO. Then mark off September 20th and 21st, 2019 on your calendars. The amazing Motion Design conference has confirmed that there will be another conference next year. Tickets sold out in less than a day last time, so be prepared.

Cinema 4D presentations from NAB released

The Maxon booth was HOPPING at NAB this year, and featured some incredible presentations from C4D masters. The first couple of batches of presentations have been made available to watch here and here. Check them out, and try to come to Vegas next year to see the demos in person. Way cooler.

The Do’s and Don’ts of Freelance

Bee Grandinetti went out and asked tons of studio owners, producers, and other hiring-managers what they look for in a freelancer. The resulting Motionographer article is filled with insights and advice from some of the top folks in the game. Way to go, Bee!

Black Math kicks ath.

Boston-based Black Math has been a little quite lately. Have they been slow? Have they gone dark? Actually, it appears that they were so busy doing amazing work that they forgot to update their site. Well, they found some time and dropped a GORGEOUS new reel and portfolio. Check it out.

The Freelance Life with Eddy Adams

Eddy Adams read The Freelance Manifesto, left his job, and soon after was asked to speak about his experiences in the freelance game. The result is a clever, entertaining look at the pros and cons of going solo, and some great tips and advice. Check out the video here.
